Bruschetta Bread..Who knew it was so simple
Yes I gave Bruschetta Bread its very own post!
Its mainly because I thought the bread and the Tomato Basil toppings were a secret recipe sent to us from Julia Child herself and was never to be shared; & then..I found it!
**Top with “My all time favorite Guacamole” recipe on my blog for the best Guacamole Bruschetta your mouths can handle..Vampires beware though.
BREAD 1/2 loaf French bread
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons, olive oil
Slice french bread into 1/2 rounds and place on a baking sheet.
Toast the sliced bread in the oven for 3 minutes
then flip each piece over and toast an additional 3 minutes
Cut garlic at each end exposing the oils inside
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and immediately rub with clove of garlic
Brush with olive oil and set aside(I recently threw out my pastry brush, so i had to use the back of a spoon; which made mine a little more oily, but i like the taste anyways)
Meaning of Bruschetta: toasted Italian bread drenched in olive oil and served typically with garlic or tomatoes.
(I guess it was meant to be losing the old pastry brush;)
