Saint Patrick’s Day- Celebrating green without spending it!

Thanks! I got it at "The Sal!"
“Thanks! I got it at The Sal!”

As the sun sets on another beautiful day in Michigan, I take in all of the great things that have happened so far this year! I truly hope everyone is able to find some positives in the life they are given. Reflect on them.

Enough with the all of that mushy, girly, talk. Lets talk about Saint Patrick’s Day!

With every holiday, event, or outing, my first thought is, “What am I going to wear?” It’s a problem, I know! One time when told I had a funeral to go to, I responded with.. “What am I going to wear?” You should have seen the look on the persons face! All puzzled, and partially angry, she responded with, “It doesn’t matter what you are going to wear, it’s a funeral, De-an-na!” haha I know it was really bad timing, but I’m a little weird with funerals anyways, so that probably played a part in that.

I am completely aware that some people believe what you wear doesn’t matter, and blah blah blah, but I personally get excited about finding an outfit that is comfortable, a bargain, and looks good!

green jewelsSo! in the market for green? Because other than athletic apparel, who really owns green clothing items?..unless you’re a red head..then you probably should own some green things, it’s a color that compliments ya!

Since the Salvation Army color coordinates their clothes it made this shopping trip SO easy! I spent just under $8 for three tops, a bracelet, and necklace!

I also noticed the dollar tree has a bunch of accessories and holiday themed gear.. but if your like me, your “banking” on the beer promo girls at the bar that give away the free swag!

I guess in the end, there are ways to celebrate the green holiday, with out spending much of it! 🙂

Have a nice week!
