I found myself binge watching on Netflix! It is hard to feel guilty of the common sickness of binge-watching because I finally have time before I begin yet another, busy school semester. Netflix just released Girlboss on April 21st, and I have been addicted.
I had scrolled past the cover before under “recently added” but never made the selection to watch it. A friend of mine posted a status that said
Sounds serious, right?! Well if you knew this actual GIRLBOSS, Elyse, the owner of Parliament the Boutique, located in Grand Rapids, then you would know, her recommendations are credible! She is AWESOME and inspiring! & I am not sure if I will be thanking her or blaming her for this specific recommendation: P, because I. am. hooked! “Girlboss is based on the life of the Nasty Gal entrepreneur Sophie Amoruso, who turned an everyday eBay shop into a thriving lifestyle industry with nearly $300 million in sales” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/0/real-girlboss-rise-fall-nasty-gal-founder-sophia-amoruso/
This show is outspoken, hilarious, and inspiring!! Who else is watching?!
Here is a little bit about this local GIRLBOSS and her lovely boutique/Studio.
“Parliament the Boutique + Studio is a handcrafted shopping destination, a crossroads for makers and their community, and collective studio, featuring functional art and craft from West Michigan-based, independently operated designers and artists. We’re proud to offer shopping, workshops, and handcrafted experiences for all ages and types of participants, within a safe and loving space on the Avenue for the Arts in Grand Rapids.” https://www.facebook.com/parliamenttheboutique/
